Based on the experience touring through Japan a few years ago, my new bike packing list is even shorter than back then. With less normal clothes, and more cycling specific clothes and also a much smaller bag.
While the bag I rode with in Japan did weigh about 10 kg, this one only weighs 4.1 kg! But it should be sufficient... Plus there will be a small triangular bag in the frame for food and powerbank.
